The Drifting Desk’s entire mission revolves around the idea that technology is making it easier for people to work from anywhere. More and more people are able to work from home and spend more time with their children and families, or to work from anywhere and travel as often as they’d like without having to save up PTO and feel restricted.
This is all so new, so the question for many people is, are remote workers happier than office employees? The data is starting to roll in on these new workers. So, our friends over at TimeDoctor created an infographic with data from TINYpulse, an employee engagement company who “surveyed 509 U.S. employees who work remotely at all times to find out about their experiences in the workplace and compared their responses from over 200,000 employees across all types of working arrangements.”
